Companion is a product operated by Gardy.
By using Companion, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
Companion is a digital tool designed to help users reflect, organize thoughts, and improve clarity through journaling and structured interaction.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials.
3. Subscriptions
- Companion offers paid subscription plans
- Billing is handled via Stripe
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You may cancel at any time through your account
If you cancel, your access remains active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided.
4. Refunds
Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
No refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods or unused time.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for illegal purposes
- Attempt to exploit or disrupt the system
- Abuse or misuse the platform
6. Data & Content
You retain ownership of your content. However, you grant us permission to process it solely to provide the service.
7. Disclaimer
Companion is not a medical, psychological, or therapeutic service and does not provide professional advice.
It is intended as a reflection and journaling tool only.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use means acceptance.
11. Service Availability
We strive to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada.
